I Can Help You Remove Your Mental Limitations And Turn Up The Volume On Your Dreams
It hurts to say this, but the #1 person stopping you from achieving unbelievable greatness in your chosen area… Is YOU. Think about it, no one else can really control how well you perform at your chosen sport, art, or science.
No matter how physically or mentally talented you are, no matter how brilliantly you assess every situation, and no matter how you strategize your practices, if your “mental game” is not at 100% then you simply cannot perform at 100%.
Now, I am a firm believer that what you do to improve your performance in your chosen domain is much more important than what I do -- after all, you’re the one metaphorically or literally sweating and working to achieve your goals every day.
But if your own mind stands in your way and causes you to hesitate, then you won’t be able to reach your optimal performance. That’s where I come in.
As a mental performance coach, my job is to help you push your own boundaries and achieve more than you ever thought possible. I help you realize all of the things you THINK are holding you back… are simply distractions. My Performer-Centered Approach puts the power back into your hands.
My “Resume”
In my career, I’ve been lucky enough to achieve some of my biggest dreams and discover where my natural talents are. My parents owned a pizza shop, where I learned my work ethic and sense of responsibility, along with playing football for my high school.
I joined the Navy at age 17 with the hope of one day flying jets and determined to make up for my checkered academic past by entering the Naval Nuclear Engineering pipeline, the Navy’s most challenging academic track.
After four years in the Navy, and four attempts I was finally accepted into the United States Naval Academy (USNA). During my senior year, I finally got to fly in a jet. I never had a better time throwing up!
From there, I began my career as a Supply Corps Officer (essentially a business manager), eventually earning my MBA from USC’s Marshall Business School, along with two awards: Best Business Plan and the Marcia Israel Award for most outstanding entrepreneurial graduate student.
Finally, I had the chance to give back to a younger generation as the Economics Department Associate Chair at USNA. I also coached on the USNA Varsity Sprint Football team (think lightweight football) and I served as an Officer Representative for the USNA Varsity Baseball team.
After realizing my passion for mentoring adolescents and young adults, I decided to earn a second masters degree, this time in Performance Psychology so I can have a lasting impact on our community. I couldn't be more proud than when I the earned credentials as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) administered by the Association for Applied Sports Psychology (AASP).
During my entire career, I’ve led teams ranging in size from six to 300 people. I’ve realized what I really love doing, and what I am good at, is helping people define their Arena and discover their path to peak performance by arming them with leadership and mental skills consultation and training.
Defining Your Arena (think...Your Mission, Purpose, And Values All In One Vision)
If you have a goal for your life, then you owe it to yourself to maximize your mental performance skills so that everything lines up to point you in the right direction. I know of no better way to do that than by using the tools I’ve developed in my 20+ year career.
When you know exactly what you’re aiming to accomplish (your mission), why you’re trying to accomplish it (your purpose), and how you’re going to do it (your values) -- and combine that with the right choices…
Then you too can live a life of meaning, significance, and self-discovery -- embracing your talents and desires; and accomplishing more than you ever thought possible along the way.
And you know what? I’m here to help you do it.
